Our Story

Jean-Louis and Monica Recking continue the generational love of good food and traditional French cuisine at Le Rendez-vous Cafe.

Born in Saint-Denis, Reunion and growing up in Taninges, France, Jean-Louis Recking has always had a passion for traditional French cooking. This passion manifested in the form of an intimate Patisserie and Cafe named Le Rendez-vous on Randwick’s vibrant Belmore Rd in 2016. Now a staple amongst locals, Jean-Louis and his family continue to use the best quality ingredients to produce incredible food in-house daily.
